About The Training Source

Welcome to The Training Source!  We offer State of California, *EMSA certified classes that meet the training needs for licensed Child
Care Centers and Home Child Care Providers.  We are OSHA compliant for the workplace or anyone that wants to learn how to save a life!

We offer Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid.  Choose a full in-person class or a Hybrid 6-hour online class on Zoom live w/Catherine Hicks with a 2-hour in-person CPR Skills session at our new training center in Escondido.
  Private classes available for groups of 8 or more!

Do you need the Preventive Health Practices class for your Child Care business?  This 8-hour class is offered in 2-four hour sessions on two weekday evenings.  This class is online on Zoom live with Catherine Hicks.  She will share her 25+ years of child care training experience. 
Sit in the comfort of your home or workplace in front of your computer or laptop!  It's easy and you don't have to download materials
ahead of time to take this class!  A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day before the class.

Catherine Hayes Hicks, owner of The Training Source is a certified Health Educator with a teaching credential in Health Education.  Prior to starting The Training Source, Catherine worked for the American Red Cross, San Diego Chapter for over six years  Catherine as an Instructor Trainer and Program Coordinator that trained instructors to teach the California Child Care Course (AB243) for the Red Cross.   Catherine started The Training Source in September 1997 and now she has a new Training Center in Escondido!  Come visit her beautiful training center with outdoor patio and courtyard!  Free and convenient parking or schedule a class at your location!
